New contract opportunity: Senior Data Analyst: 6 months initial: Banking: Leeds - £400-£455 p/d
A Top Tier Bank is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work on their Credit Operations programme
Key responsibilities include:
Data Analysis team (team of 5 contractors) will support the data definition build and scoping of new rectification data requests.
Data extraction will be fulfilled via a separate data development team with whom the Data Analytics team will work closely in order to acquire the appropriate data for their analysis.
The analysis team will perform data analysis in SAS with large volumes of customer data, driving out customer cohorts and data to support treatment strategies, tracing files, payment files, mailing files etc
The ideal candidate will have:
Significant coding experience in SAS/SQL preferably both
Experience in data mining: extraction, manipulation and building insight
Experience in predictive modelling: data extraction, model build and validation
Experience working with business stakeholders to understand product metrics and challenges, to shape analytical requests
Strong maths skills (degree level preferable)
An aptitude for using and manipulating large amounts of data
Good presentation and communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex analytical concepts
Rectification data handling experience would be a strong advantage
Credit Operations business data handling experience would be a strong advantage
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
