My client based in Burton on Trent are Seeking a motivated Insight and Senior Insight Analyst, who is passionate about what they do, and a large part of the role will be to you will take a proactive approach in analysing the client's member data in order to share key customer insights that will drive crucial marketing campaigns and wider business-making decisions.

Purpose of the Insight and Research Analyst Role:
- To deliver analytical work, data management and reporting across the Company's specific business areas and its associated programs.
- To deliver CRM data requirements for campaigns, working closely with the Marketing team and contributing to planning meetings;
- To set up and maintain our automated email marketing data processes;
- To create/oversee the set-up of email marketing journeys and triggers;
- To recommend and implement campaign testing requirements;
- To support the Marketing team with campaign selection criteria and measurement;
- To deliver effective reporting and evaluation of campaigns and understand their ROI;
- To develop conversion tracking and automated campaign reporting from all channels;
- To assist with weekly updates on campaign results and dashboards at Marketing meetings and office 'stand ups' as required;
- To present to Directors, key stakeholders and partners as required;
- To deliveranalytical work and reporting in other areas such as:
- Betting analysis and segmentation
- Racegoer/Supporter analysis and segmentation
- Member profiling
- Analysis of Favourites/Preferences/Goals
- Predictive models;
- To work with our SQL Server, Tableau and other software packages;
- To mentor the Insight analyst(s) and provide assistance/best practice with use of, Tableau and SQL.
Experience required:
- Proven experience of highly analytical, investigatory and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in creating propensity models and segmentation for use in personalization / decisioning.
- Capable and experienced in techniques to deduce from a data set the influences from different attributes.
- Experience of using behavioral customer segments.
- Experience of manipulating data and report building using SQL and Tableau.
- Ability to articulate analysis for a non-technical audience with clarity and in an engaging manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills coupled with sound commercial awareness.
- Educated to degree standard, ideally in a mathematical, economic, applied statistics discipline.
- The ability to work on own initiative and contribute to the direction of projects.
- Proven experience in analysing large data volumes using either / SQL / Tableau or similar analytical tools.
- Expert user in MS applications including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
