Role Summary:
My client an international health insurance provider is looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Business Consultant with strong solutions design experience, to drive process and system improvement initiatives across their business, facilitating business and system change and delivering optimum process efficiency and effectiveness. My client is going through some acquisitions, and your role will be focused on assisting their sister company in Australia. You will be bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT, eg a new Platform. You will support strategic projects; drive revenue generation, new product launch as well as digital programs. They are essentially looking for someone that is able to perform the necessary Business Analysts duties, but also to put together functional specs, so strong solutions design experience is key, and background in Systems Analysis.
Role specifics:
This is a 6-month contract role and possibility to extend for up to Three Years. This is a daily rate contract, paying €500 - €600 p/d, depending on experience (negotiable). Flexible working hours and Travel to Australia will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify areas for improvement, understand business need, specify requirements and implement recommendations. Plus, Identify and drive agreement of scope with senior stakeholders. Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct workshops and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into functional requirement specifications. Assist the business stakeholders in prioritising business requirements and defining new business processes. Manage and lead less experienced Business Analyst(s) in their day to day job.
Some travel may be required
Experience and Requirements:
- Strong Communication (verbal & written) and Interpersonal Skills
- 8-10 years of experience, running complex programs of work (Both formal project management methodologies & Agile)
- Top-Tier Consulting experience a distinct advantage/Business Consultant experience
- Strong solutions design experience is key
- Systems Analysis experience would be preferred
