A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Global Process Owner R2R to join a business services organisation based in Surrey.
Our client is offering the perfect candidate a niche, yet extremely interesting, opportunity to join their business as their Global Process Owner standing in for the Financial Controller. You will be a part of an exciting period of change currently being undertaken, offering a fantastic opening within their senior team to identify, set out and deliver the transformation project. Not only does this role offer an exciting opportunity in terms of financial change and transformation, but it also comes with the responsibility of managing and enrolling the training process for colleagues involved in the project.
To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
- Have ideally some previous experience working with Oracle Fusion systems along with the competence of working with Microsoft Great Plains.
- Be the subject matter expert for the expert for the R2R function.
- Have operated as a senior accountant within a multinational organisation using Oracle.
- Be proactive and self-motivated in the way that you approach your work.
- Have previous experience of being involved in software implementation.
- Have an understanding of the pressures involved in the accounting team process and be able to liaise between finance and the project area.
A little more information about the role:
- Your role will generally revolve around the implementation process of transformation and change.
- You will be responsible for testing, improving and executing the test process in transformation leading up to the project going live.
- You will be involved in the training process of junior members of staff to ensure company policy is effectively carried out throughout the business.
- You will be expected to travel internationally on the odd occasion.
