SAP FICO Consultant - 1 year contract

We are looking for a SAP FICO consultant for our clients IT Department as responsible for SAP Finance and Controlling business areas, below is the profile we are looking for and the expected start date is January 2018

Overall responsibility

The role is varied and holds responsibility for our IT department in the field of SAP Finance and Controlling for involving two SAP Systems.

Detailed Responsibilities

- Responsible for new initiatives; for specific assignments; for maintaining best practices; for ensuring up-to date documentation of the domain.
- Collect in detail from business owner/key users the requirements for enhancements or new functionalities on the IT system or domain under the responsibility.
- Propose enhancements/best practices on the system, bringing suggestion, new ideas and improvements to the business.
- Assess and advise support team and Business on potential vulnerabilities with SAP components.
- Bridge in maintaining amicable relationship between business and offshore/onsite support teams.
- Guide supply team on resolution and improvement of support process.
- Update support staff on known errors.
- Formalization of new requirements on the Service Desk/Change Management tool.
- Follow-up all the issues and ensure business continuity.
- Be the main point of contact for all Support issues for business.
- Ensure that the business confidence on the support and IT team is improved/maintained.
- Applies Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework knowledge.

Qualifications

- Should have a minimum Degree Qualification
- Should have at least 5 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Hands on experience in New GL, AA, CCA, IO, COPA.
- Very good Functional & technical understanding of SAP FICO modules, with integration to MM/SD.
- Very good experience in Migration projects.
- Customer Oriented
- Vision on Emerging Technologies
- ABAP knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in Support pack/Enhancement pack upgrade projects and impact analysis of upgrade.
- Experience of working in mixed environments.
- Experience of working in Onsite/offshore model.
- Experience in handling very highly dynamic and demanding business.
- Able to work with multiple priorities in parallel and to tight deadlines.
- Working experience or general knowledge of the ITIL framework is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving skills with an emphasis on resolution of complex functional problems.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems.
- Excellent People skills & Planning skills.
- Comfortable working across a multi-disciplined IT environment, and diverse business.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Flexible "can do" attitude, with a positive customer focus.
- Focused on quality and attention to detail.

JOB Location: Luxembourg
Minimum Language Proficiency: English (Proficiency: Fluent)
