Finance Change Manager - Inverness/Edinburgh- 6 months
Finance Manager with change experience required for a contract based ideally in Inverness but Edinburgh will be considered. This will be a 6 months contract working inside scope of IR35.
You will be required to assist the Head of Finance and Procurement in delivering a range of work to review financial processes, procedures and systems to ensure that they are in place and fit for purpose. This will be achieved by leading, managing and advising on areas of change, deliver functioning finance and procurement function and produce reports and targets.
Essential skills -
- Experience of operating in a financial and business accounting environment
- Experience of managing change in a financial environment.
- Understanding of the principles and requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Data Analysis and reporting experience in relation to plans, finance and project costs
- Project Management Experience
Desirable skills -
- Able to facilitate and lead project meetings and working groups
- Knowledge of Public Sector financial reporting mechanisms
- Knowledge and experience of implementing new systems and processes
- Good understanding of the principles and requirements of the Scottish Public Finance Manual
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques
Candidates will be expected to hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland issued in the last 12 months or be happy to undergo this clearance.
