A leading global construction business is looking for a talented Senior Financial Accountant to raise the skill set of the team, supporting the Finance Manager by helping to embed changed processes and controls into the ways of working for the team.
This is a great assignment for anyone with experience working in dynamic and challenging environments and is keen to engage in process-improving project work. The hiring manager describes the role as:

To perform successfully in this role, you will need to have:
- A background in finance (ideally qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Embed the balance sheet reconciliation process and create a policy.
- Document and implement new processes and controls.
- Embed the journal process and draft a policy with approval levels.
- Embed any new processes or controls, monitor adherence and make continuous improvements.
- Run meetings, draft communication to key stakeholders, and train those impacted by process change.
A little more information about the role requirements:
- Qualified accountant with 2 years PQE minimum
- Strong working knowledge of FRS102 and other applicable standards
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Exposure to VAT returns and completing tax packs - nice to have
- Dynamics AX - nice to have
