GDPR SMEThis position will be based in Belgium and it would be a distinct advantage if you spoke French and were already based there.
You will ensure my Clients readiness for the inception of GDPR. The project covers procedural compliance, creation and centralisation of policy documents, planning of internal and external communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES & TASKS
. Ensure that technical and user documentation is fit for purpose is produced
. Ensure that the GDPR implementation project is well managed with effective governance, planning, budget management, task oversight and evaluation.
. Prioritise requirements and clearly define the scope of the changes project will achieve.
. Provide on-going support and guidance throughout implementation, to clarify requirements or manage requirements changes.
. Working with specialist colleagues, ensure communication plans are produced and successfully executed; manage testing to successful conclusion, liaising with colleagues and external suppliers as needed.
. Monitor and report on progress towards goals and costs against budget. Ensure the process and progress is transparent and widely understood.
. Ensure that final implementations meet requirements. With the Project Group ensure that issues are addressed by encouraging use and adoption.
. Review existing data protection processes and practices, identifying and documenting areas that need to be addressed.
. Identify and define solution requirements needed, working with the GDPR Project Group to ensure organisational needs are adequately addressed.
. Ensure that privacy policies meet GDPR and organisational requirements.
. Ensure that organisational data protection statement(s) are compliant while maximising supporter experience and our ability to communicate with supporters, including where we will use legitimate interest as a basis for communication.
. Liaise with (and ensure compatibility with) the broader strategic data project.
