Urgent request for an intelligent, highly resourceful Sales Support Administrator.

We currently trade with Schools across a number of London Boroughs. There is a critical need for an organisational sales function to develop and implement strategies to increase business development opportunities supporting the organisations growth targets. This role is accountable for developing and managing the customer relationship management database, developing corporate intelligence reports from the data and supporting on all sales activities. Working within a small team with ambitious sales targets the role will be required to develop processes, procedures and competence that drive a commercial approach and mind-set throughout the organisation.

Support on all major business development opportunities covering the whole sales life cycle.

Implementation of the corporate customer relationship management system and procedures that enable a sales function and skill set across the organisation

Quality and speed of delivery of corporate reporting on sales activities

Achievement of key delivery milestones for development of the CRM system

Quality and feedback on coaching and training staff on use of sales procedures

Creates activity plans for the current sales period and deals. Manages the sales process efficiently, reacting to customer needs.

Manage the Customer Relationship Management database ensuring that data is captured accurately and that the importance of capturing sales data is understood across the organisation

Support the sales manager in developing the reporting functionality of the CRM to provide timely intelligence to our leadership Leadership team, the strategy function and Operations service line managers on sales opportunities.

Deliver training and workshops ensuring that sales principles and CRM processes are understood across the company and ensuring relevant templates and guidelines are available to stakeholders.

Skills and Abilities

  • Use of sales tools such as CRM to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the role
  • Proven success in supporting high profile business development activities.
  • Good knowledge of risk management, quality assurance and quality control.
  • Competent user of MS Office products and reporting functionality on CRM systems.
  • Communication skills via a variety of different methods targeted to varying audiences.
  • A team player, able to work closely with people at all levels and challenge others to act on behalf of the business.
  • A commitment to delivering high quality, customer focused services and the maintenance of high professional standards.

Experience

  • Experience of supporting sales activities from initial inquiry to close.
  • Experience of working in a service industry.
  • Experience of developing a CRM system for commercial use and training users on its functionality.
  • Experience of working effectively with multi-party stakeholder groups.
  • Experience of reporting functionality on systems (preferably CRM).
