Role: Senior CRM Manager

Location: London or Peterborough

Day rate: Up to £400 via LTD

Contract length: 6 months

Salt are looking for a Senior CRM manager with a financial services background for a 6-month contract with a well known foreign exchange business.

This is an excellent opportunity to get hands on with a massive customer database, taking control of the design, business ownership, and delivery of all CRM communications, ensuring all customer communications drives an excellent customer experience, as well as an optimal return on marketing investment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in a customer communications environment, ideally in the financial services sector, or working with financial products, and with experience of both operational and marketing style communications.

An analytical background, coupled with experience of delivering operational customer communications via multiple communication channels, is a must.

Key Accountabilities/Experience required:

  • Own the Client's customer base and define contact rules for customers
  • To set the strategy for Customer Touchpoints management on-line and off-line, direct and indirect channels across Europe and implement the strategy
  • Significant experience in setting-up data driven campaign management systems to send personalised customer communications (for example Alterian, IBM Unica, Adobe Campaign, Teradata)
  • High level of technical competency in email-marketing - including in-depth knowledge of email service providers, the creation of email through an enterprise email service provider tool, and understanding of email deliverability and inbox placement.
  • Significant experience of data selection and manipulation using languages such as SQL and SAS.
  • Experience of using customer data to maximise the return of direct marketing campaigns through segmentation and propensity analytics
  • Experience of managing the end to end delivery of a campaign including management of stakeholders across a business such as legal, compliance and creative services.
