Description

A Medical Device Organisation in Connacht in Ireland are looking for Quality Engineers to join them on an initial 12 month contract basis with a potential to go permanent afterwards.

The role is due to start in January but interviews will be taking place before Christmas.

Rates are competitive and open to negotiation as finding the right candidate is of the highest importance to the client. There is an excellent opportunity for long term work assisting on multiple projects..
The role will be working on specific projects, carrying out process improvements and continuous improvement work, as well as identifying potential risks & milestones for delivery.

Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Drive and implement process improvements
  • Provide effective and responsive QA support to Operations
  • Drive and implement quality system improvements.
  • Ensure Regulatory compliance
  • Implementation of statistical techniques to monitor process performance
  • Customer complaints management
The skills required for this role include:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering preferred
  • 4+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment within Quality Assurance (preferably GMP regulated)
  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer preferably in a Medical Device industry but other industries and backgrounds will be considered
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems
  • Great understanding of GMP
  • Experience with audit readiness is desirable
  • Project management skills are desirable
  • Excellent problem solver & decisive person
  • Great communication skills required for liaising with Stakeholders
