The role
As a team member, with IT Business Analyst skill set, handle all types of work related to the Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems the team is responsible for in a Product Lifecycle perspective. As a team member the person will be working in a cross functional team with several systems and different technology.
The team's key objectives:
- Elaboration: Capture business requirements, establish solution candidates and choose solution and establish High-Level Solution Design
- Development/Build: Understand and transform requirements into a ETRM solutions with agreed capabilities and quality
- Operations: Support and maintain our ETRM solutions according to agreed commitment (SLA).
- Proactively optimise maintenance and contribute to cost reduction through simplification and automation.
As IT BA (Endur ETRM Expert) contribute in several of the following projects 2018: MiFID 2 implementation, Gas position modelling and Market surveillance solution.
The Clients technical focus is to develop the expertise they need for system configuration, integration and reporting/data analysis.
The Client would like to hire a Functional consultant/Business Analyst to help on the Energy Trading processes and software: And really curious of how to utilize Cloud.
BA Competence wanted:
5 years' practical experience as IT Business Analyst/Functional consultant within Energy Trading and Risk Management with some of these skills:
- Front Office: Deal capture including pre and post processing of deals, Trader Desktops, various Front Office reporting.
- Operations: Motion including Nomination handling, allocations handling, Power Operations including ESS.
- SW Portfolio Management: Physical position management and reporting, Supply/demand balancing (including use of COMM-TRANS-LINKS and instructions), customer specific functionality in the Front Office area to support portfolio management.
- Back Office: Settlement Desktop including Confirms and Invoices, VAT handling, various Back Office reporting, Elexon Settlement Report handling, Accounting including preparation of data for SAP, REMIT
Functional
5 years' practical experience as IT BA/Developer within Energy Trading and Risk Management:
- Front Office: Deal capture including pre and post processing of deals, Trader Desktops, various Front Office reporting.
- Operations: Motion including Nomination handling, allocations handling, Power Operations including ESS.
- Portfolio Management: Physical position management and reporting, Supply/demand balancing (including use of COMM-TRANS-LINKS and instructions), customer specific functionality in the Front Office area to support portfolio management.
- Back Office: Settlement Desktop including Confirms and Invoices, VAT handling, various Back Office reporting, Elexon Settlement Report handling, Accounting including preparation of data for SAP, REMIT
Or Technical:
5 years' experience with Endur from OpenLink Personal Qualities:
- Strong collaboration skills; structured, well organized and service minded team player.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with decision makers and end users explain problems and solutions in a non-technical way.
- Be willing to learn and work with several development languages and tools
- Comfortable working across organizational and geographical borders.
- Is comfortable working with a wide range of work; from in depth technical development, to supporting the business in project maturing and handle incidents, request and problem management
