Functional Finance Business Analyst
Our client based in the East of France are currently looking for a Functional Finance Business Analyst to join their organisation at the beginning of a large transformation project, for an initial 6 month contract.
The roles and responsibilities for this Functional Finance Business Analyst position include:
- Work as part of the functional team alongside IT and the integration team on the new company-wide SAP project
- Be part of the core project team
- Contribute to the new SAP Back Office project
- Participate in the design of the SAP Finance core model (S/4 Hana, Accounting and Controlling)
- Participate in the build of the SAP finance model
- Be part of the deployment of the new solution
- Discuss and challenge the Finance SME's requirements
- Functional documentation
- Leading functional test campaigns
- Assist in the preparation of the data migration
- Lead the gap analysis for local legal and tax requirements
- assist with user training
- Open and able for global travel
For this Functional Finance Business Analyst position, you require the following experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of strong operational and functional experience
- Strong Accounting and Controlling background
- Strong experience in SAP projects
- Experience with designing SAP solutions
- Experience of audits
- Experience working within functional IT project design and deployment
- Knowledge of SAP FICO or other ERP Finance modules
- Understanding of core accounting and finance processes
- Information Analysis experience
- Analytical approach
- Strong English language knowledge (verbal and written)
