Description
ENGINEERING - ASSISTANT (COE) - Introductory position to assist COE ENGINEER. 5-7 years of experience.
- Conversion of existing Central Office AutoCAD drawings to Microstation.
- Draft new and revise existing Central Office floor plans detailing Telecom infrastructure, administration areas, and electronic and electrical equipment.
- The successful applicant is a self-starter who can take direction but is able to work independently, is dedicated to producing quality design documents, and can work well in a collaborative environment.
Job Requirements:
- Strong CAD skills required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT.
- Previous experience working in Microstation a plus.
- Previous Telecom CAD drafting experience a plus.
- Produce to scale architectural drawings representing floor plan layouts.
- Produce to scale plan elevation drawings depicting layout of electronic and electrical equipment.
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and database proficiency.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required education and experience include:
- Minimum of 3 years CAD experience preferred.
- Drafting Certificate, Associates degree in Drafting preferred.
