Transition Lead

£450p/d - to start ASAP

Investigo are working with an organisation based in Hertfordshire to recruit a Transition Lead into the business. As Transition Lead you will be responsible for ensuring that designated activities are successfully migrated to the new Global Shared Service Centre.

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Previous experience managing a Shared Service Centre transition/centralisation
  • Experience managing process transision on a Global Finance Transformation
  • Strong Credit & Collections experience/knowledge

Required Skills:

  • Ability to coach, and mentor Project Team members, and team members being impacted by the migration
  • Process Focused - able to follow, document and explain key processes, and impact to accounting
  • Communication Skills, Organisational Skills & Teamwork Ethics
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Project Management Qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP etc.
  • Experience in using a Microsoft Dynamics AX is desirable.
  • Able to operate and act independently whilst taking direction from PMO/Project Manager and Programme Manager

Duties:

  • Ensure all activities to be transitioned are identified.
  • Ensure all detailed work instructions are produced.
  • Effective communication to the team from whom the activities will be migrated.
  • The knowledge transfer approach and specific activities are identified.
  • Identify who will receive the knowledge transfer.
  • Propose & agree the timing of migration activities.
  • Support the Project Manager to ensure staff retention, outplacement and recruitment activities are completed in time.
  • Ensure that all facilities/IT requirements are in place
  • Support the Global Communications process relating to Migration
  • Completion of Work Shadowing/Hands-on Training schedule
  • Provide final sign-off for completion of Knowledge Transfer of Credit and Collections
  • Manage the service 'Go live' in the new location
  • Support Post-Migration Support activities
  • Be the conduit for issue escalation & resolution
