My client, one of the leading Telecoms operators in Belgium, is looking for a Dutch speaker Continuous Improvement Manager with a strong Telecoms background to join the Technology & Innovation department.
The main objective of the role is the construction of new or replacement of existing network - fix coax & fiber and mobile indoor & outdoor network on public & private property.
Responsibilities:
*Recurrent and highly accurate reporting of CAPEX/OPEX
*Input consolidation of the Build department CAPEX (multi Euros 10 mio/year)
*Challenge budget input with team managers & operational parameters
*Develop budget forecast models & maintain + operate it recurrently.
*Periodic analyses of financial actual Vs forecast & declare delta's + take action to increase forecast quality.
*Set-up clear reports for recurring communication on CAPEX
*Required to interact with the departmental managers within & outside the department, the financial department, business lines
*Owner of mobile coverage (GeoMarketing) model to drive high level roll-out planning.
*Operational impact assessment on Build dept. of new programs
*Continuously optimizing processes and tools to increase effectiveness throughout the department
Experience:
*Experience with budget management & modelling of financial forecasts
*Proven track record in managing large telecom projects with experience in mobile coverage is a strong asset.
*Familiar with telecom sector and/or industrial development environments.
*Experience managing a portfolio with strong reporting skills
*Is well organised to work with large amounts of data/information
*Experience with process optimisation
*Experience in people management in an asset
*Analytic but pragmatic & precise without getting lost in details.
*Able to keep a high level overview
*Project management (>3 year experience)
*Good understanding processes & its main drivers
*Drive for optimization & continuous improvement -> problem solver
*Strong reporting skills & advanced Excel user
*Team player, strong communicator & loves high energetic atmosphere
*Speaking Dutch is essential
