O&M Fleet Engineer (Gas, Boilers and Mechanical) - 6 Month Contract - Midlands/Home Based
My client is looking for an O&M Fleet Engineer (Gas, Boilers and Mechanical) for an initial 6 month contract based in the Midlands/Home Based. The role will be full time on site and may require some out of hours working, the client can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Description:
- The O&M CHP Fleet Engineer is the primary contact and is responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of the clients Connecting Energies' (ECT) On-Site Generation (OSG) assets.
- The Fleet Engineer is responsible for maintaining fleet availability, provision of technical advice and also demonstrating a high level of professionalism and adherence to company and policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field or industry
- Strong knowledge of boiler heating systems, including steam raising plant
- Experience of gas turbines and reciprocating engines a distinct advantage
- Gas Safe Registration beneficial
- Health & safety qualification eg IOSH/NEBOSH desirable
- Independent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in stressful situations
- Proactive, self-disciplined and highly motivated with well organised work style
- Ability to work constructively with customers and sub-contractors
- Customer satisfaction and needs driven orientation
- Demonstrate commitment to health and safety of self and others
- Demonstrable experience working with sub-contractors/external parties
- Ability to work unsupervised and function as part of a team
