Senior Platform Capability Engineer - 6 months to perm
Our client who are a global Oil and Gas organisation are looking for a Senior Platform Capability Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month contract, the role itself is based in London. Please note that this opportunity will allow the contractor to go and gain a permanent role for our client. There are factors to this.
The role of the candidate will be to identify and develop the tools platforms used by the Analytics and Reporting teams. The Senior Platform Capability Engineer will have to advise and consult when the project is running, so the candidate must display good communications skills. The role will not just be limited to development and consulting, there will be some training involved. This training will not be limited to juniors but to also Senior Members of staff.
There maybe some travel involved but this is not a big part of the job. The locations that the candidates may travel to will be Netherlands, United States of America or India.
The ideal candidate will have commercial awareness especially of the U.S market. Stakeholder management would be pivotal for this role. Have a solid working understanding of SCRUM and other agile methodologies.
