Release/Environments Manager
Rates: €575 Euros Per Day
Location: Dublin
Duration: Initial 4 Months with possibility of an 18-month extension
Test Strategy, Release and Environments Planning
Large Transformation Project which is part of a national programme for a large utility client based in Dublin Ireland. This is a 2-year programme.
The initial scope of this area is to define the IT Programme test scope, approach, strategy, test phases, test environments, data staging environments, release planning and the tooling requirements for the IT Programme.
Duties and Responsibilities of the suitable Release/Environments Manager:
- As the Release and Environment Manager you will be responsible for the coordination of environment preparation to support test purposes across the full spectrum of technical environments, as well as the preparation for release to production.
- You will coordinate the planning, preparation and management for technical environments and will schedule entry and exit dates.
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and that they meet expectations.
Essential skills of the suitable Release/Environments Manager:
- The successful Release/Environments Manager will have solid Release or Environments management experience, with a strong understanding of the other.
- You must have excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as interpersonal skills - within a technical environment.
- Good understanding of general quality processes
