Financial Analyst - 3-6 months - Edinburgh
Experienced Financial Analyst required for an initial 3 month contract based in Edinburgh. This is a unique role and an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an important programme of work with a public sector client. The role will include producing programme budget forecasts, producing monthly budget monitoring reports, assisting with accounting for programme expenditure and working with a Statistician to extract data to perform analysis for decision making.
Essential Skills
- Ability to extract and analyse complex information from a variety of sources and deploy robust, credible and convincing evidence to support decision making;
- A proven track record of using Excel as a business tool;
- Relevant experience of working in a finance or similar role;
- Qualified to at least HNC accounting level or equivalent;
