Senior Business Analyst - Control Room - Bank

Senior Business Analyst with Control Room experience required for a project with a leading Bank in Stockholm, Sweden.

It has been identified that the general environment for the bank's Control Room function and Market Abuse Surveillance function can be significantly enhanced in order to realise both increased operational efficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
The aim for the project is to implement a system for Control Room and Market Abuse & Communication Surveillance is to reach a to-be state with increased efficiency, increased compliance with regulatory requirement and a centralization of the control room and market abuse surveillance activities within the bank, in those jurisdictions where possible.
The project has performed an RFI and RFP and are in the process of selecting a vendor. The Business Analyst should drive and facilitate the work regarding requirements and processes. High level requirements exist but we need more detailed description of both functional and non-functional requirements. It is the same with processes. For processes the Bank use BPM notation. The Business analyst should work in the area of Market Abuse Surveillance. Understanding of the business and the bank is an advantage. Project manager is located in Stockholm.

Control Room:
Most banks tend to "build" their own system for the Control Room, this bank are however in talks with a supplier to do this for them. They're planning on having workshops in January with the supplier, hence the need to sort a consultant by mid January at the latest. It is imperative that the candidates have experience from large, financial organisations working with the establishment of Control Rooms, as their responsibility will be to validate the requirements as they are written alongside the supplier.

Professional skills:
- Good understanding of financial instruments (shares, Fixed Income, FX and derivatives)
- Good understanding or experience in trading financial instruments
- Good understanding on market abuse issues
- Experience in implementing system for detecting market abuse or trade surveillance
- Experience as BA in the financial sector

English is the only language required for this role.
