Proteus Europe is searching for 2 Fluent French and Dutch speaking Test Analysts for a 1 year contract role based in either Brussels or Antwerp, Belgium.

Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.
Your New role :-
The test analyst takes care of the preparation, coordination and execution of a test plan, possibly in collaboration with other test analysts, so that proper acceptance tests of new or adapted programs, software are assured. These acceptance tests must ensure that the final production of the new software can be carried out in a quality and error-free manner.
Main responsibilities
1. Drafting a test plan
The test analyst takes care of the preparation of a test plan:
- Scanning the test project
- Performing risk analysis regarding testing
- Determining test strategy (stakeholders - who, test levels - when, quality attributes - what
- Determining test clusters
- Development of test approach (RRBT: Risk Requirements Based Testing)
- Determine test environment and infrastructure
- Setting up the test organization
- Prepare the test schedule
- Validating acceptance criteria
2. Test preparation/analysis
Preparing a test preparation/analysis based on the requirements and functional analysis, carrying out tests whether or not i.s.m. testers from the operations organization for the system and acceptance tests, ie
- Perform (re) testing
- Registering defects
- Check and analyze test results
- Assess and report findings
- Validating the requirements and functional design
- Preparing the test cases, including test posts
- Perform (re) testing
- Guiding the testers
3. Coordinate the test execution
The test analyst ensures the coordination of test performances:
- Follow-up of progress test plan
- Explaining testers of test activities and following up on these test activities
- Ensure that activities are conducted qualitatively as well as quantitatively according to agreements
- Report progress testing, also in terms of - coverage-, number of defects
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- A1 or university computer science or equivalent through experience in a similar function
- Minimum 5 years experience in testing
- Knowledge of ISTQB
- Good communication skills
- Experience with a test management tool, preferably ZEPHYR
- Experience with defect management tool, preferably JIRA
Desirable Skills :-
- Knowledge of PRINCE2
- Experience with SCRUM
- Experience with Enterprise Architect
- Experience with working in releases (process and environment)
- Experience in the insurance sector
- Experience with output systems
- Experience with archiving systems
