Senior Project Manager

Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for two Senior Project Managers for one of our clients based in Belgium.

There are two different openings with a slightly different profile requested.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-6months + OR permanent
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Rate: Euros/day all in OR Euros/year + benefits
Languages: English and Dutch

Requested profile:
- Certified in one of the most common PM methodologies: Prince2, ITIL v3, PMI
- Experience as a T&T PM (Transition & Transformation)
- Experience with sizing, costing, describing and designing project and T&T projects.
- Fluent English and Dutch - must; French - strong plus

1 - Senior Project Manager End User Services/Workplace:
- Active experience with near- and off shoring departments/contracts in outsourcing deals for End User Services (Workplace services).
- Experience with Migrations in the END USER SERVICES technology stack.

2 - Senior Project Manager: - Data Centre
- Active experience with near- and off shoring departments/contracts in outsourcing deals for DATA CENTER Services.
- Experience in designing, building from scratch a Datacentre infrastructure (greenfield setup)
- Experience with Migrations from customer datacentre to a fully newly set-up datacentre.

Scope:
- To deliver the assigned project on schedule within budget and to the level of quality agreed with the customer. Mostly smaller to medium sized projects.
- Professional Project Management Approach applies project management methodologies and tools based on external/and/or internal standards to plan, implement and close the assigned project on a professional manner.
- Project definition and Plan development: preparing a top-down, structured project definition and plan based on customer requirements, and ensures that all deliverables have been clearly defined acceptance criteria and testing methods.
- Scope and Change control: defines and agrees an affordable scope and operates an effective change control process that allows for flexibility and adaptation to changing business needs.
- Reporting: controls and monitors against the plan and ensures that clear and concise status reports are available to the steering board. Escalates issues causing deviance from agreed budget, timescale and/or quality.
- Team Management: assembles and organises a diverse team capable of reaching the project's objectives. Leads the team with energy and a commitment to success and excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: defines the communication interface to all stakeholders, includes stakeholders in a project definition and ongoing decisions to ensure that expectations and project deliverables are aligned.
- Issue and Risk Management: Ensures that an effective risk assessment and risk mitigation plan is in place. Uses the formal review procedures to manage risk and issues. Proactively avoids risks and advises on possible solutions to resolve escalated matters.
- Meet Customer expectations: ensures the results of a project are up to the standard quality of the client and as agreed in the project plan. Agrees on the technical and quality strategy with appropriate members of the steering board and ensures regular quality review are established.
- KPI:
o Deliver a project in due time, to the budget and contractual level of quality
o Document formal reviews and reports which have taken place
o Update and agree upon risk and quality plans
o Review and Acceptance of project
o Reach necessary customer satisfaction scoring.
