My client, a global player within the telecommunication sector, is currently looking for a Business Analyst for one of its multimedia projects. The project is set to be at the company's European headquarter in Amsterdam for the duration of months. The main responsibility will be delivering expert product requirement analyses, strategic assessments, and deliverables for projects/programs.

Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Understand and clarify the business and product goals and objectives behind the project
- Agree on all appropriate analysis activities, including the detailed output documentation required
- Provide input to benefits and solution identification and determines key issues, risks and contingencies
- Accurately assess and effectively communicate the impact of business, operational and technical change to stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders to obtain input and commitment to change
- Develops reviews and critiques requirements for projects and/or work-streams
- Identified and manages the requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Acts as a conduit between key business stakeholders and Technology work streams
- Evaluate proposed business and technology solutions and ensure they meet the requirements
- Manage, track and plan requirements and tasks in issue tracking system (Jira). Assignment to responsible architects and developers and progress tracking
Business Process Improvement:
- Work with the assigned manager to identify the need for the introduction of new processes and updates to existing processes
- Work with the assigned manager to ensure that proposed User Acceptance Testing of changes is reflective of the production environment and requirements coverage
Education/Experience:
- Master or Bachelor's Degree in EE or IT
- Experience with a variety of analysis tools and techniques, experience in both broadcast and over IP Digital TV, understanding of VoD and PPV; experience in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
- Data analysis tools & techniques; analytics
- Stakeholder & relationship management
- Knowledge of project delivery life cycles
- Experience with Jira is an advantage.
- Experience with Middleware
- 7+ years of relevant experience with Embedded systems
- Strong digital video system analysis skills
- Capability to translate business requirements into architectural framework and design
