Location: London
The Role
- Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and parallel run model governance within the new Non Ring Fenced Bank
- Identifying and maintaining model governance
Responsibilities
- The business are looking for an experienced risk professional with strong stakeholder management skills to support the Models and Methodologies Workstream Lead, as part of the Ring Fenced Programme.
- The workstream is responsible for securing credit and market risk permissions from the PRA, and ensuring all credit, market and other models are in place. There will also be opportunity to be involved in a credit risk permission for an EU entity.
- The ideal candidate will be conversant with credit and market risk regulation and have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Responsible for and assist in identifying how model governance will work in the new non ring fenced bank, ensuring that the parallel run is up and running.
- They will also be responsible for speaking to the regulators to get regulatory model permissions for credit and mark risk.
The ideal contractor would:
- Have a number of years' experience in either a modelling/analysis position
- Have excellent stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Any change management skills (transition to go live) would be ideal but not expected
