My client is a leading telecommunications client, and we are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Finance Business Partner for its retail division. This role sits within the Cost Efficiency and Opex Directorate, providing commercial support and analysis for all aspects of the Channels and Trading function.
The role will provide commercial insight and recommendation into all aspects of Retail trading and value, to own and lead value reporting in Retail and to own the store P&L model and its development. To set and manage the budgets for the Customer Engagement team and take corrective action as and when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Understand, analyse, report and make recommendations on the weekly value position for the Retail directorate
- Manage the overall retail and store P&L reporting and appropriate analyses
- Prepare the P&L statements for the MBR and QBR processes
- Manage the QXT process from a Retail perspective, ensuring the Retail targets are aligned those interlocked
- Ensure the retail commission scheme is aligned to value as reported corporately on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Prepare and analyse the trading position of the new formats in readiness for PIR presentation
- Act as the Finance Business Partner to the Franchise team
- Manage opex budget and forecast for parts of the Retail team including month end reporting and analysis

Skills and Experience Required
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
- Experience of supporting a business to make financial decisions
- Experience of managing an outsource operation/relationship
- Experience of SAP Complex financial analysis experience
- Demonstrable ability to adapt too and lead change
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in particular the ability to tailor both to the appropriate audience
