Solar sales and marketing assistant

Job Scope and purpose:

If you are looking for challenging role that will give you sales and marketing experience within a large multi-national company operating in the solar industry, then this exciting position could be just that.

Primarily, this role is to support the growth of sales in UK & Ireland by implementing successful marketing campaigns, including planning: advertising; public relations; writing and proof-reading copy; product launches; event organisation; market research and competitor analysis; distributing marketing materials and e-newsletters; maintaining and updating customer data bases; processing purchase orders and tracking deliveries and payments.

Key Attributes

  • Ability to adapt and fit in to multi-cultural environments
  • A passion for, and preferably experience in communications -ideally within the energy space (renewables/solar)
  • An appetite for current affairs and business issues
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and communications skills
  • Confident when presenting
  • Proactive problem solving skills with resilience to keep going until problems are fixed
  • An understanding of digital communications and social media
  • The ability to learn quickly and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills, with excellent attention to

Experience required

  • 1 year working with Sales and preferably with some marketing experience

Other addition information

  • The candidates must be a native/fluent Chinese speaking and native/fluent English speaking, must be very good at written English.
