CUSTOMER PROJECT MANGER - SOUTHAMPTON6-12 MONTHS
UPTO £430 per day
- The successful candidate must have a proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector preferably in Media domain
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Ideally a background with media or broadcasting organizations
- Must have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tracks within the project
- Strong business understanding of media domain with customer and market insight
- Ability to lead and supervise multiple teams associated with the project
- Financial acumen and analysis abilities to track project budget
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PMP / PRINCE II certification would be an excellent benefit
- Experience with contract management, project sales process is desirable
Job Responsibilities
- The Customer Project Manager will ensure that a contract for products and/or services is delivered to the satisfaction of the customer. To do this the successful candidate details and clarifies the project scope, secures the necessary resources, plans, and monitors all necessary activities.
- The CPM must engage with the Customer, 3rd party suppliers, Product development Units and global suppliers and providers
- Ensure that adequate cost and resource allocation for compliance to Group and local safety requirements are included in the project scope.
- Track project activities and milestones, drive risk management, monitor the project plan, and manage change requests
- The CPM will define an action plan for solving any issues and follow up on the execution of the action plan
- Set and manage project expectations with the customer and stakeholders, manage customer relations and build customer confidence
- Track the financial results, ensure that the project is scoped appropriately for the cost
- Ensure that the relevant governance is in place and communicate achievements clearly for the governance period
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
