Accounts Assistant/Booker/Payroll Officer
Location Corby
Temp position for approximately 2 months then to go Permanent long career but must prove yourself hard worker.
Temp rate £10 per hour
salary £20,000 - £23,000 a year
Job Summary
Working with the Finance Director to run payroll using SAGE payroll, Invoice clients using in-house software and book keeping role using SAGE accounting software
Experience with SAGE payroll software and account software desirable
Responsibilities and Duties
To work within the finance department as a payroll, invoicing and book keeper.
Invoicing clients monthly, running payroll for 120 care workers using in house software with an interface to SAGE payroll on fortnightly. Day to day general book keeping duties under the supervision of the company's professional accountants.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with Sage Accounting and Payroll desirable. Computer skills, written and spoken English essential.
NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in related field.

Purchase Ledger Duties

Ensure all invoices are properly authorised

Check and reconcile supplier statements

Dealing with purchase invoice queries in a timely and effective manner

Completing credit application forms for new suppliers

Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details with purchase ledger

Processing BACS and CHAPS payments to suppliers

Sales Ledger Duties
Undertaking credit application process for prospective customers

Producing Sales invoices, credit notes and profit a invoices

Reporting daily sales to factory company

Emailing and posting sales invoices

Chasing outstanding debts
-
Banking and reconciliation of multiple bank accounts

Providing reports such as Day books,aged debtors analysis and Sales ledger turnover

Dealing with international customers and completing W-8 forms
