Financial Analyst/Beerse, Belgium/6 months Contract/26 to 30 EUR (Per Hour)

Key responsibilities

  • Your main responsibility will be the accounting and controlling of the European treasury centers.
  • You will ensure alignment of accounting processes with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • On a monthly basis you will close and report the full balance sheet and P&L of the European treasury centers.
  • You will work cross departmental in projects and daily work with all other treasury teams. (FX, Investments, Cash management)
  • You will participate in the analysis and reporting of results toaffiliates and corporate headquarters.
  • You are co-responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvements in order to optimize the accounting processes.

Your profile

  • You have an economic master degree, ideally with a major in accounting
  • As the balance sheet of the European Treasury centers contains the majority of Johnson & Johnson's cash and investments, a punctual and trustworthy attitude is essential.
  • You have good knowledge of accountancy, knowledge of US GAAP and accounting of derivatives are an additional asset.
  • You are interested in establishing, organizing and supporting financial processes and systems.
  • You have strong and proven analytical skills
  • You are a stress resistant team player, flexible and accurate.
  • You can express yourself fluently in English
  • You have experience with MS Word, Excel and SAP R3.
