Contract Manager - 6 months - Edinburgh
Our client is urgently seeking an Contract Manager to join their Edinburgh office on a 6 month contract. You will play a part in delivering services and outcomes through the deployment of innovative contract management techniques and ongoing supplier management methods.
You will work on Stakeholder Management, Strategy Development & Implementation, Supplier/Contract Management, and Continuous Improvement.
Essential Skills:
* Experience of managing multiple contracts, and contract changes
* Skilled in using Key Performance Indicators to monitor and challenge supplier performance
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including with third party suppliers, through all stages of the contract life cycle
* Must be experienced in analysing, organising, interpreting and interrogating complex information, making clear, concise and evidence based recommendations
* Previous experience working in a Programme and Project Management (PPM) environment
* Budget/financial management experience
* A relevant qualification in contract management (eg CIPFA) would be desirable
