Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a large regulatory programme. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the delivery of MI analysis and testing the regulatory reporting outputs.
This role will sit within the fast-paced Regulatory Reporting team based in Edinburgh. It is an initial 6 month contract and will pay £320-£360 daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Testing for Regulatory Control: writing test scripts, generate expected results, execute tests and obtain testing sign off for Regulatory systems changes
- End to end UAT of Regulatory Reporting system and Process
- CB COREP, Pillar 3 and FSA NRFB reports
- Training and handover to BAU
Key competencies:
- An understanding of regulatory reporting including COREP, Pillar 3 and Stress Testing would be beneficial
- Balance sheet interpretations
- Confident user of Excel and Access.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders across Finance, Risk and IT;
- Proven ability to perform adhoc analysis on datasets, draw themes, key issues and communicate findings;
- Ability to work independently and deliver under short and challenging timescales;
