Description
Our client, a large public-sector organisation based in Edinburgh are looking to bring in an experienced finance officer into their business on a three-month temporary contract.
The successful candidate will be an experienced finance officer who has experience in a busy finance department and have excellent communication and analytical skills with experience of working in the public-sector.
You will be responsible for a wide range of duties in this role including -
- Accounts receivable experience
- Creating banking journals
- Posting transactions
- Handling queries and uploading to the finance system
- Reviewing finance transactions and authorising documents
Candidates will be expected to hold a Basic Disclosure Scotland issued in the last 12 months or be happy to undergo this clearance.
