IT Technical Services Manager - Leinster (Ireland) - euros pd LTD
My client is an established IT outsourcing organisation who provide IT and Telecommunication services to customers across the globe. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technical Services Manager to join them on a customer site in Leinster, Ireland - on a contract initially until end of June 2018. Based on site 5 days per week, my client is offering attractive rates and is looking to have the successful candidate on-board as soon as possible.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for the operational management of all the end to end service including issue resolution and continuous improvement.
DUTIES:
+ Responsible for the technical ownership of nominated services within IT delivery
+ Responsible for Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation activities
+ Responsible for the technical delivery of allocated services
+ Maintain a focus on service availability, maintainability and recover-ability of services
+ Acting as first point of contact for Account Delivery Management
+ Undertake direct customer management and cost management of allocated services
+ Lead project management initiatives
+ Accountable for quality and cost effectiveness of technical solutions deployed
+ Build effective relationships with peers and team members
+ Own and management of customer satisfaction
SKILLS:
+ Service Delivery Management - customer facing environment
+ Commercial awareness as to how to cost and manage a budget
+ Excellent knowledge of management disciplines and processes including ITIL
+ Customer contractual service and service level agreement exposure
+ Exposure in an IT Outsource environment - specifically in service delivery
+ Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills
+ Skills in managing client expectations in large scale programmes
+ Exposure within IT and Telecoms industry would be highly advantageous
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence
