A well know conglomerate is looking to add to their Supply Chain team by appointing a Finance Business Partner with Supply Chain/Logistics experience.

Scope of Work

Reporting into the Capital Lead, this role is the key finance business partner to the BU Engineering Director, monitoring all capital spend within all 5 BU's in relation to Supply Chain operations, CDO and Business Unit investments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering with the BU Engineering Director, delivering strategic guidance and executive level decision making support for all capital investments within the BU. Each Engineering Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the asset base across their relevant BU. The role will be responsible for supporting multiple BUs (1-2).
  • Leading and directing the BU(s) capital and depreciation activities for Strategic planning, Annual business planning, Forecasting cycles, Financial close and Working capital management activities. Ensuring this support translates strategies into financial outlooks, while providing clear explanations on assumptions, variances and trends
  • Ensure alignment with the BU Finance teams on the capital component of efficiency related projects across CCEP. Working closely with relevant stakeholders and driving alignment (ie BU IMO team, BU Finance teams).
  • Monitoring and directing the SSC & CoE to deliver capital and depreciation reporting, to manage the capital approval process for Supply Chain and capital SOX requirements. Providing guidance to the CoE to developing and delivering reporting tailored to the customer requirements.
  • Sourcing the key variables and performs analysis for BU(s) capital projects to assess performance against plan
  • Supporting the In-market teams in prioritising projects, developing capital proposals (including developing business cases) and guiding through the capital approval process for capital projects greater than €0.5m
  • You collate relevant data and build financial models that accurately reflect the business case so that the capital cost implications are fully understood
  • You collate relevant data and build financial models that provide accurate information required to take informed decisions through the new product development approval process
  • You support the new product development process, from a supply chain perspective and product costing teams for each BU and align with BU country marketing finance teams.
  • You provide general capital management advice, tools and processes to your internal customers to enable them to make effective decisions and understand the implications of them

Desired Skills

You will hold a relevant qualification in accountancy (ie CIMA), be a strong communicator and presenter and will speak fluent English, proficiency in French, German, Spanish or Dutch would be advantageous but isn't essential.

  • Demonstrating an independent approach, setting own agenda to deliver accountabilities
  • Supporting a number of projects at one time, providing sufficient support to each
