Description
GL Accountant (50-80%) wanted for our Fribourg based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Certified specialist for finance and accounting or similar degree
- 3+ years' working experience in financial reporting and accounting
- Familiarity with local tax (Income tax/VAT) and IFRS
- Profound skills in MS Excel, SAP and JDE (AS 400)
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken, Dutch is desirable
Your tasks:
- Preparing monthly financial closings and reportings according to IFRS and local legal requirements
- Creating and maintaining adequate accounting records while adopting new standards and requirements to ensure compliance of internal controls, reconciliations and documentation
- Ensuring specific and complex accounting matters are well addressed and solved on time
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data
- Dealing with tax advisors and tax authorities to handle requirements
- Supporting finance related process changes by identifying gaps to standards as well as initiating and formulating change projects with IT and finance management
