Description
Financial Services Lead (NHS)
You will be Responsible for the day to day management of the Financial Services South team for the relevant CCGs including the financial ledgers, creditor payments, debtors management and cash flow management. You will also be responsible for the internal and external reporting for the relevant CCGs as required. You will also be responsible for the delivery of good quality Annual Accounts for the relevant CCGs in line with Department of Health timetable and guidance.
Skills Required
- NHS experience in a senior financial position
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to an audience where there may be barriers to understanding
- Ability to analyse and interpret highly complex financial and non-financial data
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to make judgements
- Ability to organise and plan own workload and projects in order to meet deadlines
- Able to extract salient information from accounting systems and create databases or spreadsheets using complex formulae
- Able to travel to different sites within the organisation and to customers.
