Finance Business Partner - Market Engagement
My client who are one of the UK's leading telecommunication companies are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 3month contract based in Newbury.
Role Purpose
The Group Enterprise Commercial & Operations Market Engagement programme exists to develop and deliver relevant, value-added services to the clients EBUs. Following a successful pilot in Sales & Commercial Operations, the Centre of Excellence team is expanding the market engagement programme to include all capabilities in Group Enterprise Commercial & Operations. The Finance Analyst will provide best in class Business Partnering to the decision making process in the Centre of Excellence, ensuring we maximise the return of investment and value to the clients EBUs.
The role is responsible for developing a recharge model to simplify the transactions made between Group and the OpCos, reporting and analysing performance against plan, reforecasting, and driving business performance.
The role holder will lead the development of robust business cases through commercial modelling and ensures that relevant financial assumptions are Embedded in reporting controls.

- Experience of dealing with & challenging Senior Leaders across a multitude of disciplines
- Has the experience to identify and articulate the implications of strategies and business plans
- Able to evaluate the relative merits of proposals in the wider commercial context
- Challenges decisions to make sure they are based on high quality information
- Conflict resolution
Desired
- Graduate, ACA/CIMA/ACCA/MBA qualified or with considerable depth of experience in finance or on commercial analysis
- Actively maintains knowledge of broader global orientated commercial environmental trends
- Identifies and acts upon market changes when developing commercial and strategy
- Strong change management and process improvement skills
- Cultural awareness
