Finance SME- Qualified Accountant
My esteemed client, a well-respected leader within Financial Services requires an experienced Financial Analyst who has previous experience working in a Financial Analyst capacity on a project within a top-tier Financial Service.
Additionally, the ideal candidate would have experience of working on Finance operational efficiency projects within a change environment as well as the proven ability to analyse and report effectively on large amounts of data. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to present to as well as challenge senior stakeholders and demonstrate a measure of tenacity in their work attitude.
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: £300-£350/day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience of a Financial Analyst role, supporting a project within a change environment
- Previous experience within a large financial institution
- Able to work to deadlines and work within a results driven environment
- A fully qualified accountant - preferable, however qualified by experience may also be considered
- A strong understanding of core accounting concepts
- A minimum of 2-3 years financial analysis experience
- Excellent senior stakeholder maangement skills
- Proven ability to manage and review large amounts of financial data
- Ability to collaborate effectively across the wider team and with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience which demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
- Proven analytical skills
- Previous experience of using Advanced Excel
- Ability to be proactive, self-disciplined and possessing excellent organisation skills
