Qualified Accountant - Stakeholder Management
My esteemed client, a well-respected leader within Financial Services requires an experienced Financial Analyst who has previous experience working in a Financial Manager capacity on a project within a top-tier Financial Service.
Additionally, the ideal candidate would have experience of working within financial regulatory space. The role will focus on the design and delivery of reports in response to ad hoc request from regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will have the proven ability to interpret rulesets and be comfortable in managing senior stakeholders. Qualified accountants are given preference.
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: £275-£330/day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Essential skills and experience:
- Previous experience of a Financial Manager role, supporting a project within a change environment
- Previous experience within a large financial institution
- Able to work to deadlines and work within a results driven environment
- A fully qualified accountant - preferable, however qualified by experience may also be considered
- Knowledge of financial regulatory rules and Credit Risk.
- A strong understanding of core accounting concepts
- A minimum of 2-3 years financial manager experience
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage and review large amounts of financial data
- Ability to collaborate effectively across the wider team and with multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience which demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
- Proven analytical skills
- Previous experience of using Advanced Excel
- Ability to be proactive, self-disciplined and possessing excellent organisation skills
