Interim Procurement Lead
Sanderson Recruitment is working on behalf of a innovative SME business to identify an experienced Commercial/Procurement specialist to work closely with a passionate senior leadership team and lead the strategic development of the organisations procurement, supplier and contract management activity.
Individuals must have a communication style and gravitas that allows them to coach, influence and integrate at a senior level through strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as commercial lead on high value strategic deals.
- Develop and implement procurement, supplier and contract management policies, process and tools in line with strategic objectives.
- Support the development of a clear and consistent procurement framework.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive commercial management experience ideally gained across a variety of organisations and industry sectors.
- Excellent strategic and critical evaluation skills.
- Strong gravitas with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with all levels of an organisation.
- Solid experience of commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Broad understanding of best practice procurement, supplier and contract management framework, policies, process and tools.
