Your tasks:
- Coordination of project related purchasing activities for lab and bio tech equipment in cross functional teams
- Alignment with the business partner and or engineers re technical specifications and the global Sourcing Manager commercial strategy
- Requesting and following up on quotations from national and international vendors
- Managing the RFP process
- Negotiations with suppliers and preparation of the respective contracts (e.g. Supply Agreements)
- Evaluation/analysis of quotations and proposals from RFPs, gathering facts to facilitate the decision based on TCO, awarding the contract
- Documentation of savings
- Complaint management
- Ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing policy
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, biology, engineering or pharmacology with an additional business education or degree in business education profound contracting/sourcing/purchasing experience in international markets, with a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical processes
- In-depth knowledge of the global market for laboratory equipment
- Comprehensive communication skills as well as strong project management skills
- Very good command of English
- SAP R/3 and MS Office
