Pharmaceutical Compliance Officer (CAPA) - 12 month contract - paying c£250 to £300 per day
The Opportunity:
My client are a global pharmaceutical company with a base in Cambridge, looking urgently for a highly motivated pharmaceutical professional to join their team. This position is offered as a 12 month contract and will require the successful applicant to manage documentation, especially corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs), as well as regulatory compliance documents.
Skills and Experience:
- 12 months minimum experience in pharmaceutical compliance
- Strong knowledge of CAPA coordination and documentation management
- Experience in a pharmaceutical research environment strongly preferred
- First-class communication skills and attention to detail is paramount
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree level - scientific disciplines
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the tracking system for CAPAs, regulatory compliance documentation and ensure alignment with company global procedures
- Oversee effectiveness checks which result from corrective actions
- Coordinate audit resources to support the regulatory compliance team
- Manage data entry for CAPAs into the CAPA management system
- Perform quality control for entered data in the CAPA management system
- CAPA Project Management - source documentation to ensure effective CAPA completion
- Produce reports from the CAPA management system
- Maintain and develop the CAPA management system, acting as the Business Administrator
- Provide general support to CAPA creation and management
