Communications Manager - Commercial Banking - Invoice Discounting - 6 months - Banbury/London (candidate must be in Banbury 2-3 days per week)

A top retail bank based in Banbury or London is currently seeking a Communications Manager to join an Invoice Discounting programme for a 6 month period.

Overview of the Programme/Project

Invoice Discounting & Factoring (ID&F) Programme
The aim of the Programme is to implement a new ID&F online system which will be made available to new clients and then exisitng clients (c.8k) will be migrated to new system.
- The role is working as part of a migration programme team and is responsible for ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients and colleagues arising from all CB Change Management projects.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

'An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Change Manager to join the team.
Activities will include:
- Have an understanding of the client and colleague impacts arising from the change being planned
- Design & deliver communications to clients and colleagues to ensure they are aware of what is changing, understand the context in which the change is being made and engender enthusiasm in clients and colleagues for the change. Support promotion of the new system.
- This specific role involves working with the wider programme to understand the impact of the change on Client and Colleagues, design and deliver Communication

Essential Skills and Experience

- Experience in Change Management within a Financial environment
- Stakeholder engagement
- Understanding the Commercial Bank
- Understand and determine the impact of change on clients and colleagues, gaining a detailed understanding of the impacts to drive communications
- Based on detailed understanding define and recommend the right approaches for the communication needs of Clients and a variety of impacted business areas and colleague populations
- Establish key messages to deliver client & colleague journeys, creating strategic communication plans and visions which align and maximise the potential of those journeys
- Design, create and deliver high impacting and creative client communications engaging with Data Services & Marketing to facilitate
- Assess and report on communications effectiveness
- Maintain a breadth of view of client and colleague communications and consolidate messages for maximum effect

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Understanding of Transaction Banking and preferably Invoice Discounting and Factoring

*Candidate must be based in Banbury 2-3 days per week*
