Description
My Hampshire based client are looking for a Scrum Master to join their internal IT Team following an implementation of Sitecore 8.2. They are are looking to fully implement a Scrum Agile way of working for all their Sitecore development.They are seraching for a Scrum Master who can join and help fully develop their Agile processes, guiding and steering them as appropriate. They are looking for Scrum Master who can join their dynamic and exciting project and take over the running of 2 scrum teams whilst at the same time assisting with the establishment of all the necessary Agile processes to ensure success fast.
You will be responsible for:
* Guiding the team through the Agile development processes to ensure they are as productive and effective as possible
* Continuing to increase the maturity of the team and organisation at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
* Removing impediments to progress by facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
* Being an effective communicator and negotiation to both facilitate progress and remove blockers. Building on this to ensure that internal and external communications are effective and increase transparency on the Agile process
* Building a trusting and safe environment for the development team where problems can safely be raised and resolved
* Supporting the Product Owner, in particular in the area of refining and maintaining the product backlog
Essential Experience:
* Being a Scrum Master for at least 2 years, using Scrum Agile methods and practices, in particular in maintaining the product backlog, running sprints and sprint planning, facilitating retrospectives and show and tell, reporting on sprint progress through burn down charts
* Leading, guiding and empowering a multi disciplinary team not expert in Agile and coaching them in the process and required behaviours.
* Experience of taking a pragmatic approach to moving forwards in a large organisation, adjusting processes and methods accordingly
* Experienced at managing software development, in particular around, code management, handling bugs and defects, integration with release management
* Overseeing of in sprint testing
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Desirable Experience:
* Sitecore or CMS development
* Agile tools in Team Foundation Server or Visual Studio Team Services
