Campaign Delivery Data Analyst
My client, a leading Financial Services Organisation, is seeking an experienced Campaign Delivery Data Analyst based in Bristol.
Overview
The role holder will be expected to multi task with the ability to support the MI Delivery team through the delivery of ad-hoc requests for data from across Coverage, Product and Delivery functions in Commercial Banking. This role has arisen to backfill a colleague leaving the team
Based in Bristol, this opportunity is within the Campaign Data Delivery team of MI & Reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in Group Brands & Marketing and across the Commercial business to create targeted client data sets to enable the delivery of mandatory and marketing communications. The team also provide post campaign analysis for marketing activity and data expertise in the use of suppressions and availability of internal Commercial data.
Key Accountabilities
- Delivering on a wide range of requests for data and acting as data SME for campaign data delivery within commercial banking.
- Building strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior colleagues.
- Extracting data using Teradata from the Group Data Warehouse and manipulating information to provide analysis which will inform business decisions and generate mailing files.
- The ability to drive business performance or spot operational issues through data analysis.
- Contributing to the wider, cross-site team culture
- Developing self and wider team through knowledge-share and focus on learning and improvement
Key Capabilities/Knowledge
- Well organised and delivery focused
- Strong team player with flexible working approach
- Strong interpersonal & influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal support
- Excellent Communication Skills - both oral and written
- Good awareness of the financial services marketplace and industry issues
- SQL/Teradata/data manipulation experience desirable
- Experience of Direct Mail campaign management and mailing file production desirable
