Financial Analyst Manager - 6 months - Edinburgh - £16 per hour
Harvey Nash's public sector client are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst Manager for their office in Edinburgh.
You will be responsible for:
* Delivering high quality financial analysis
* Ensuring the provision of the core data required to support decision making
* Highlighting areas of concern for investigation by Finance Managers
* Analysing complex data
* Managing responsibilities for the Analyst team
* Developing and implementing policies within the Analyst team to support service improvement
Essential Skills:
* An understanding of a wide range of accounting theories (incl. forecasting methodologies)
* Working knowledge of complex areas such as VAT and Capital Accounting rules
* Experience of delivering high quality information in a time pressured environment
* Demonstrable experience of managing staff.
