The Business Solution Engineer is mainly responsible for:
- The capturing, understanding and further clarification of the business requirements
- The conversion of those requirements into the most appropriate functional solution design, configuration and implementation
- The operational support of the solution
What are the expectations?
In general as a Business Solution Engineer we expect him/her to:
- Close collaboration with the Solution Architects to ensure the functional solution design adheres to the overall solution architecture
- Ensure the functional solution design, configuration and implementation adheres to the functional solution principles, policies and standards, guidelines and best practices
- Delivery of the functional solution configuration, implementation and testing within the agreed timeline and budget
- Documentation of the functional solution design, configuration and implementation
- Support of the solution life cycle
- E2E Understanding of the business processes within his/her domain
And in particular as an expert:
- Subject Matter Expert of the functional solution in place within the assigned (sub)domain
- Design of several functional solution alternatives and corresponding feasibility evaluation
- Estimation of effort and time required for functional solution design, configuration, implementation and unit/integration testing
- Formulate propositions for functional solution improvements during its life cycle
- Regular knowledge transfer of functional solution specifics and changes towards all team
Which COMPETENCES do you need for applying ?
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in a technology related field (eg Engineering, Computer Software, etc.) required
- 8+ years of experience in multiple IT areas that include analysis, design, evaluation, and development
Must be able to prove an active experience in the following areas:
- SAP ISU expertise:
- FICA: Dunning/Payments/Collection agencies
- Basics of ISU master data, billing/invoicing
- SAP FICO expertise:
- New G/L, SAP AA, SAP A/P, SAP A/R
- SAP Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profitability Analysis
- Technical skills:
- Debugging skills necessary
Can be a plus to have knowledge in:
- Opentext VIM
- SAP MM (Purchasing)
- Able to do bugfixing on existing SAP Workflow/ABAP Coding/Webservices
Experience in working in Agile/Scrum methodology can be a plus
You have a strong ability to deliver an efficient and optimized solution.
You are able to work under pressure and in a stressful environment with changing priorities.
You can work an autonomous way but are a good team player.
You must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical terms.
You are business proficient in English and at least in Dutch or French
