Description

*Business partnering with the BU Engineering Directors, delivering strategic guidance and executive level decision making support for all capital investments within the BU. Each Engineering Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the asset base across their relevant BU. The role will be responsible for supporting multiple BUs (1-2).
*Supporting the In-market teams in prioritising projects, developing capital proposals (including developing business cases) and guiding through the capital approval process for capital projects
*Supporting the Engineering Directors in identifying end-to-end SC improvement opportunities through analytics based insight and proposing pragmatic/flexible solutions for capital related issues.
*Leading and directing the BU(s) capital and depreciation activities for Strategic planning, Annual business planning, forecasting cycles, financial close and Working capital management activities. Ensuring this support translates strategies into financial outlooks, while providing clear explanations on assumptions, variances and trends
*Identifying capital and depreciation risks within the BU(s) and supporting development of action plans to prevent risks impacting the business, both short and long term
*Ensure alignment with the BU Finance teams on the capital component of efficiency related projects across the company. Working closely with relevant stakeholders and driving alignment (ie BU IMO team, BU Finance teams).
*Monitoring and directing the SSC & CoE to deliver capital and depreciation reporting, to manage the capital approval process for Supply Chain and capital SOX requirements. Providing guidance to the CoE to developing and delivering reporting tailored to the customer requirements.
*Ensuring capital transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
*Sourcing the key variables and performs analysis for BU(s) capital projects to assess performance against plan
*Working with BU teams to generate capital forecast, understanding the drivers, challenging and identifying capital opportunities

Qualifications & Experience
*CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent preferred.
*Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG Finance Environment
*Fluent in English essential, ability in other languages a benefit
*Strong customer service orientation and confident in customer situations
*Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service
*Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
*Strong team player
*Time management, planning and organisation
