Finance Manager, Hospitality, Accountant, Welwyn Garden City, 6 months
One of my major retail clients is looking to appoint a seasoned Finance Manager to work within its hospitality function to deliver timely and accurate periodic and annual financial reporting and to ensuring financial processes operate efficiently and comply with agreed key controls.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the period end process to deliver complete, accurate and timely data to all stakeholders in compliance with TGAP
- Accounting for Hospitality revenue, commercial income, payroll, head office and fixed assets
- undertaking the annual impairment review
- Leading the Hospitality fixed asset head in Bangalore
- Reviewing periodic balance sheet reconciliations periodically to gain comfort over the Hospitality GL as well as assessing for control concerns
- Working with the Tesco Bengaluru team to ensure periodic business reports are complete, accurate and timely
- Working with the operational teams in Hospitality to drive improved financial control and to ensure compliance with key financial controls
- Supporting the Business Partnering team to understand business performance
- Ensuring that information required by the office for national statistics is supplied on time and is accurate
- Supplying commentary to UK and Group Finance functions
